"Got the pipe yesterday and was stunned. It was even nicer in my hand than I expected from the pictures, and I was expecting a lot….  The high contrast curves in the extension grain really accent the pipe grain well….  The grain follows the lines of the pipe really well…. Good draw, and very little wood taste on the first bowl.  2nd bowl had none….  It sits quite comfortably in my hand, and didn't get hot when I wasn't paying attention and smoked it too hard….  Thank you so much for making this pipe. "When I first received this pipe I was simply stunned at the quality of the work.  This is not just a well designed and executed shape and finish; it is a amazingly well built pipe.

The delrin tenon slides like silk into the delrin shank insert. And the zebrano shank extension is perfectly done.  Add to that the handcut cumberland stem, eye pleasing grain, deep contrast stain and exquisite finish and you have a truly masterfully executed pipe that only hand crafting and artisan attention to detail can accomplish.  Thank you so much for this amazing pipe.  I will treasure it always.

But most importantly this pipe smokes like a dream.  I've been smoking it several times a day for the last weeks. The perfectly drilled airway with its wide open draw makes this the best smoking pipe in my collection.   You don't "break in" a pipe like this.  You simply offer it experience.
